The standard right handed guitar tuning is shown in Fig. 1.
Tune your guitar to this mp3 audio file: Guitar tuning mp3.
As you tune one string and then move on to another string, the string you just tuned and those before it will probably go slightly out of tune. Therefore, repeat/tune to the audio file about three times.
Note: In the audio file the guitar is repeatedly picked/plucked rather than trying to tune to a decaying string. If you tune to the string mostly decaying, it won't be in tune when you mostly pick/pluck it.
