Note: For this scale and the scales that follow, start with the root on the 6th string (note enclosed in the box), play in ascending pitch order all the way to the root on the 1st string. Do not play the note following the root on the 1st string which is shown as a hollow box (in this example it's marked with a red asterisk). Practice this scale root to root and back. See scale practice methods for more options.
